A few weeks ago, I found the following two quotes from articles in the local paper worth sharing. One of them is very wise, the other ... well ...

About the bank financial rescue package, from the New York Times:

The Treasury Department will make substantial profits on its investments in banks under the bailout program announced Tuesday --- if the banks return to health within a few years. If not, the government could end up breaking even, or perhaps even lose money.

No kidding! Perhaps I should subscribe to the NYT for stock advice.

There's a lot more wisdom from the creative Spanish Chef Ferran Adria, who visited the area recently:

You can talk all you want about creativity --- theory is beautiful, it's wonderful --- but you need to be able to deliver ... You have to have a system, a model ... Once we have become very methodical, very organized, then we love to be anarchic.
